New Alt Rock: Jaime Orr + “Come Through”
The talented solo-artist returns with another top-notch single - possibly our favourite release of his so far….
An alternative rock track with a pop-punk twist, “Come Through” is a high-energy new single from Dublin solo-artist Jaime Orr. The first single he has recorded with a full backing band, the surge in musical density propels the artist forward, marking this a significant release in his steadily growing discography.
A catchy track (thought not predictable), it combines a Greenday and The Strypes-esque sound to create something powerful but incredibly slick. You can hear a growth in confidence all-round, from the artist’s vocals and arrangement choices, to the lead guitar dialogue and classic drum-fill flourish to conclude the track. Orr’s decision-making within the song is what makes it such a strong one, as he starts to excel in his sound.
Definitely one to hear live, should you get the chance!
