Lake Acacia release single, “I Can’t Let Go”
The UK duo’s latest track bleeds quality and quantity
No strangers to the Cobra blog, Lake Acacia are a talented alternative rock duo from Banbury, formed by members Tim (vocals, bass, synth) and Joe (drums, backing vocals, percussion synths, triggers). Bridging the gap between rock, metal and trap styles, their newest single sees them maintain their electronic-dashed rock sound, featuring a gritty bassline, thundering drums and touches of their signature two-part harmony. With every release, the band combine these now anticipated ingredients, yet always deliver something fresh, commanding and defined.
Stylistically nodding to the likes of Royal Blood, Muse and Nothing But Thieves, the duo are confidently flying the flag for contemporary British rock, and the intensity they concentrate into their status as a two-piece is something they always have, and will continue to use to their advantage. Lake Acacia are a band with a substantial string of singles that ooze character time and time again, and to that we say, keep it coming….
