New Indie Rock: Longstryde + “Wishing Well”

Following on from their empowering debut single, “Superhuman”, Longstryde explore an opposing state of mind in new single, “Wishing Well”, trawling through the depths of self-destructive behaviour. Painting a picture of a trap door to their own garden of solace, this universal trip comes with a heavy price of self sabotaging behaviour, though it represents the place where the best of us turn to when we feel the need to succumb to an inescapable draw.
“where we seek out our desired fantasies and where our addictive nature draws us further into cycles of repetitive error”.
Speaking candidly on the habit we all feed when we seek our temporary relief, “Wishing Well” calls to mind the idea of our own compulsion without coercion, like a “personal wonder drug”.
Longstryde are on step two of a long, exciting journey, and are continuing to put their best foot forward.
