Lake Acacia reveal new EP, “Alter Ego”
Their fifth Release of the year, Lake Acacia’s latest EP ends their 2023 with quite the bang.
A powerful duo from Banbury, UK the band sit somewhere between Muse and Royal Blood - effortlessly combining the dark, the gritty and the anthemic. Combining a solid pairing of drums and bass with experimental synths, electronic percussion and two-part harmonies, the band are personally a stand-out act within the country’s scene, though their stream count doesn’t reflect it (yet…).
Diving into the complexities of modern society, specifically the relationship between young people and social media, the band seek to uncover life behind the “mask”. A daring, durable duo, we cannot wait to see what’s in store for Lake Acacia next year.
