Mirrorglass emerge with debut single, “Hey Honey!”
No strangers the stage, the Cavan band now present their first piece of studio work, leading a new generation of Irish rock ‘n’ roll.
Recently playing impressive sets at The Cornmill Theatre and their local SingForMe fest (read our review here), Mirrorglass are beginning to mark their territory on streaming services with the launch of their debut single.
Formed by vocalist & guitarist Joshua Bowles, bassist Rowan Davis and drummer Shane Galligan, the young collective bring an exceptional rock ‘n’ roll driven energy to the table - a fire we haven’t seen since fellow Cavan-ers The Strypes on The Jools Holland Show and Late Late Toy Show almost 10 years ago.
Primarily penned by Bowles, the single combines an ACDC-esque spirit with the deliverance of Greenday, marking it a fine display of where old meets new. Sure to “hit us like a lightening bolt”, you can expect significant things from this promising trio in 2024.
