Cobra Promotions is an independent, Irish music promotion and PR platform founded by Rhí McPhelim. Formerly known as RuaMedia, the platform rebranded in December 2021 to become a rock, blues and alternative focused music blog.

Rhí McPhelim is a musician, composer, journalist and publicist from County Monaghan. She has contributed articles to independent UK outlets such as Nightowl Music Promotions & MGMT, Soundwave Magazine and ICK. Magazine, and is currently a writer for the Right Chord Music blog.

In 2023, she became PR Manager at Drop Rocket, an exciting emerging platform for independent musicians.
