Find-joy release first single, “Foster” from debut EP

Known for their unmissable live shows, Dublin’s Find-Joy are proud to release the first single from their upcoming EP.

Dublin alt-pop quintet Find Joy

Performing at Whelan’s Ones to Watch 2023, Golden Plec and John Barker’s TiLT #13 at the Button Factory, Whelans’ main room, plus support slots for Tebi Rex and Post Party, Find-Joy have truly solidified their place in Dublin's music scene.

Their new single “Foster “ speaks about learning to trust in relationships after being hurt previously, delivered through driving bass and drums that duck and dive around precise guitar parts and mordant lyrics. Inspired by the likes of UK outfits Wunderhorse and Folly Group, the band further explain:

“‘foster’ to us means change, accepting the things that have happened before and moving on”.

The single artwork was created by Chris Reid, a mixed media artist from Dublin, who’s work can be found in The National Library of Ireland, The National Irish Visual Arts Library, as well as many others. A loving uncle to his nephews in the band, Tadhg and Oscar Kelly, the creative crossover gives the track that extra bit of character.
