Stuck between a rave, a punk show, and an electric smooth jazz session, bbft are an emerging Irish duo blurring the lines between digital and analog, and electronic and acoustic music. Utilising choppy jungle breaks and euphoric trance synths, to waves of distorted guitar, harsh noise and frenetic drumming to deliver an exciting, uber fresh sound, the duo’s multimedia stage show has quickly gained traction from appearing on multiple stages across Ireland, marking them one of the most exciting bands to come out of the wee county of Louth.

The debut single release is an instrumental, sample-based track heavily inspired by their love of afro-jazz grooves, and is the first of a series of singles to be released as part of their forthcoming EP. The final EP project will act as a singular body of work, with different versions of each single, where each individual track flows continuously into the next, as a nod to the crossfading style of the duos live sets (and a characteristic adopted from their DJ roots).

An entracing debut release dashed with some spoken-word elements and swirling production to mimick a psychedelic journey in just under three minutes.
