Casey Fraizer: “Not A Whole Lot Goin’ On”

The American solo-artist dazzles with his authentic Americana sound.

Americana folk artist Casey Fraizer

An acclaimed singer-songwriter sharing tales of adventures, heartache, home and family through a sound that rolls around between country, folk and 70s rock, Casey Fraizer is a roots artist that you don’t want to miss.

With 150 songs recorded to date, four full-length albums and two EPs, Casey currently splits his time between Tennessee and California when he's not touring the country, creating intimate moments with his between his music and audience. Sharing the stage with several musical icons, including Kenny Rogers and Joan Armatrading, his extensive travel experience sees his art warmly influenced by his surroundings, embodying the true spirit of Americana through a deep respect for history, art and solitude in nature. Making music that’s both “organic and expansive, rich with heart” (Jason Warburg), Fraizer offers a heavenly and upbeat folk sound, which might just be captured at its best in, “Not A Whole Lot Goin’ On”.

Featuring warm, sweet vocals and perfectly placed moments of hollow instrumentation to spotlight the singer’s tone, this track might be one of our favourite folk and roots releases to cross our paths this year, though originally released in 2016. If you’re looking for a folk artist with storytelling at their core, with the ability to take you to whatever escape you’re yearning for, then take three minutes to let Casey Fraizer lead the way.
