Pop-rock fourpiece STRAND release new single “Progress”

Formerly “Soundstrand”, the band have renamed to “STRAND” and release first single under new name

About the new single, the band explain that “Progress” is a song about changing places, people and times. The first single from an upcoming five-track EP recorded in Transmission Rooms in Longford with producer Keelan O'Reilly, the band retain their knack of writing melodic, hooky guitar pop, but present a maturing, more reflective sound under the rebrand.

The emerging four piece play a launch gig in Dublin's Anseo on October 26, officially kicking off their new chapter. The band are really leaning into a fresh indie / pop-rock sound that has the guts to go far. Big things to come from STRAND, who may missing the “sound” in name, but certainly not in style.
