Whate unveil new single, “Historical Evolution”
Whate are the UK’s newest progressive punk rockers daring to dream of a better world.
Channeling their rage to create empowering alternative rock music, WhAte have cultivated a unique sound that urges listeners to act for change. Inspired by everything from Hans Zimmer and Ennio Morricone to Greenday, Muse and Sum41, the Italy-originating band’s diverse influences create a cocktail of styles, where themes such as injustice, revolution and transformation all come with the taste.
New single, “Historical Evolution” channels the rebelliousness of punk and the sophistication of their other influences, resulting in a powerful, groove-driven track. Their signature eye-opening lyrics paired with a robust guitar-and-drums relationship and warm dashes of piano, violin and percussion, personally draws comparison to the likes of Queen and Pink Floyd. Like these classic legends, WhAte squeeze many ideas into four minutes, which is a testament to their composition and arranging skills.
Unflinching and illustrative, “Historical Evolution” is a substantial third single from the deep-thinking collective.
