“Women”: The new single from Dirty Mitts

Merging classic rock with modern insights, “Women” precedes the launch of upcoming EP, “Hands Off!”.

UK four-piece band Dirty Mitts - blue tinted colour press shot

Formed in 2022 by vocalist Tommy, bassist Matt, guitarist Mo and drummer Mateusz, the diverse four-piece hail from the UK, Poland, and Egypt, but are now firmly based in London. Drawn together by their love of powerful, blues-tinted rock, the band have quickly emerged as a force to be reckoned with in Britain’s booming contemporary scene.

New single, “Women” is bound with the band’s signature vintage feel and unbridled energy, and follows on from successful singles, “You Better Run! (Villains Theme)”, “My Show”, and “Ball & Chain”. An empowering track that calls out societies flaws, the single is fierce in sound and in message. Vocalist Tommy explains,

“the hook line ‘give me women on equal pay,” ‘is not just a catchy hook but a nod to contemporary themes that are becoming more prominent in music.”

Combining the structure of ACDC with the flair of Dirty Honey, “Women” is a fitting reflection of the impressive upward trajectory the band have grasped at not even two years old. Clear in their influences and what they stand for, we’re keen to hear how the London rockers will surmount what has been done before.
