LongRoad return from hiatus with “Breathe”

Reforming to record their second studio album, the band are full steam ahead.

Originally the amalgam of three childhood friends from New Jersey and Vermont, the LongRoad trio are back and better than ever with sophomore LP, “Faith in Greater Things?”. Supporting the likes of Candlebox, Buckcherry and Cracker soon after the release of debut LP, “This Too Shall Pass” in 2006, this year sees the band reborn and ready to build upon what once was, and bring in a new wave of fans.

Recorded at the Barber Shop Studio (NJ) and the Laundry Room Studio in Washington, the album features the talent of multi-platinum award winning producer Barrett Jones (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters), who’s time-served experience helped reimagine the band’s sound in the new decade. Vocalist Ted Ames told us:

“As with the last album, the songs remain the product of living our lives. They are an honest mix of storytelling and emotion based upon our experience and observation in and of the world around us”.

Firmly grounded in grunge roots, “Breathe” brings us right back to the nostalgic, forever powerful era of 90s / early 2000s alternative rock. LongRoad seem to have picked up right where they left off, and we warmly anticipate the offerings of phase two for the East coast band.
