The secret is out: Gather The Lost release new single, “Whispers”
A heartfelt track with “banshee-esque” undertones, the band’s third single paves the way for their debut album.
Showcasing their ability to create something unexpected yet remain true to the Gather The Lost character, “Whispers” is a song that dapples with the idea of knowing when it’s time to just let go:
“Some things are just not meant to be and it is always best in the long run”
A Dublin-based act formed in 2022, the band is comprised of Carolynn Dunne (Dublin), Alan Franklin (Brazil), Brian Dunne (Dundalk) and Niall Carroll (Kildare). With each member offering years of experience and skills, what emerges is a powerful and distinct alternative rock sound, driven by Dunne’s low-toned but mighty vocals.
A brooding track with a serious bite, “Whispers” is a single with quite the roar. A haunting backdrop of ethereal tones atop two-piece harmonies and robust musicianship solidifies the band as one that can comfortably balance the delicate with the dynamic, time and time again.
